History

E.E. Blyth & Co. Ltd. was founded in April 1964 by Eden Blyth,

Peter Blyth and Mrs. Kathleen Knight to trade in Ferro Alloys and Metals.

E.E. Blyth & Co. Ltd. later became the holding company for the various Blyth trading companies.
Subsidiary companies were later formed from E.E. Blyth & Co. Ltd.:
Blyth Metals Limited-est, 1984
Portuguese Minerals Ltd- founded in 1969: Renamed Blyth Marble Ltd. in 1984.
Blyth & Co. (Japan) Ltd.- founded in 1976 to promote our increasing trade in the Far East.
Blyth & Co. (Asia) Pte. Ltd.- founded in 1991 to sell Electronic Cores in Singapore, Malaysia and surroundings countries.

Mrs. Denise L. Pears joined the Company in November 1975 as a typist/secretary and appointed a
Director (Blyth Metals Ltd.) in 1993 responsible for Iron and Alloy sales.

Mrs. Patricia A. Shepherd joined the Company in November 1981 as a secretary and appointed a
Director (Blyth Metals Ltd.) in 1993 responsible for the sale of Electronic Cores.
